See file Index-of-MarriageBonds-Cork&Ross-pp36-44.pdf, p3. This name is hardly a coincidence and rather suggests that the Foulke and Davies families were close even before Digby's time. Apparently Elizabeth (nee) Watts, died and Foulke Davies remarried in 1692 to the widow Mary Davies (married name), Cork & Ross. Same reference. Was Mary the widow of Sir Paul Davis (Davies)? His 3rd wifw was a Mary Crofton.
