Notes - BIRTH: From "Ireland, Civil Registration Deaths, Index. 1864-1958. of:
Sarah Wilkinson; est dob about 1789, Death Sept 1881, Dungannon. Possible, but unlikely as besides being 13 years older than husband John (if he was born in 1802) she would have been 54 when her son Thos was born.
DEATH: Death Register (have copy) shows 31 August, 1881 in Gortshalgan (which checks with Sept above) and age at death is noted as 92, which gives a dob of 1789 (see above) and ulikely as dob of son Thomas is 1843, making her 54 at the time. ??? If she was infact 82 when she died, then she would have been 3 years older than husband John and 44 when Thomas born - more likely.
The hand-written record clearly shows '92' and not a possible '72' for age at death. Having said that, and knowing that reported ages at death are notoriously in error, I am recording Sarah's dob as 1799 pending better information.
{data: www.ancestry.com}
DEATH: Died at Gortshalgan in home of the father, Charles O'Hara, of her daughter-in-law, Margaret. Son Thomas and Margaret were in Belfast in 1882, having moved there shortly before.
Civil record of death has her age at death as 92, giving her a birth date of 1789. This is unlikely as her husband was born around 1802 (making her ~13 years older than him) and her son Thomas was born in 1843 when she would have been 54! I presume her birth was more likely in 1799 making her age at death, 82.
