Notes - BIOGRAPHY: JAMES WINCHESTER was born in 1804 at Farnborough, Kent. James married a Susanna and in the 1841 English Census was living at Clay Hill, Beckenham with his wife and a one year old child Fanny Peaugh.
The 1851 census shows them living at 10 Oakwood Lodge ,Beckenham, Bromley. He is 46, Susanna 64.
In the 1871 census he is married to a Mary and living at 4 Grove Place Camberwell, Surrey (after 1889, county of London) still a gardener and the 1881 census shows him as a lodger at 5 Dennetts Road, Deptford, Kent (after 1900, London) aged 76, Widower and retired gardener.
